Hugel Inc., a leading global medical aesthetics company, said on Monday it had successfully launched H.E.L.F. Training: Bluerose x Botulax, a seminar on the combined use of suturing and botulinum toxin procedure, for South Korean medical professionals on October 31.
The training seminar comprised a lecture and live demonstration on the combination of bioabsorbable threads and toxin for aesthetic purposes, with around 20 participants from the healthcare industry.
Dr. Leem Soo Seong, medical director at Balance Lab Plastic Surgery Clinic, explained the applications and mechanism of actions of sutures and toxin and performed a demonstration by using Hugel’s products such as polydioxanone (PDO) threads Bluerose Forte, Bluerose Multi and Bluerose Double Arm, polycaprolactone (PCL) suture Bluerose Clair and toxin Botulax.
He conducted the procedures for the reduction of sagging skin on the mid and lower face and chin, shared tips for effective and safe treatment and gave detailed descriptions on thread and toxin combination for body shape improvement.
“We are glad to have hosted the H.E.L.F. Training with Dr. Leem, a plastic surgeon with extensive clinical experience. Hugel will strive to share techniques in aesthetic treatments with its suture and botulinum toxin products and contribute to the knowledge exchange among medical experts,” a Hugel official said.
Hugel has hosted the global seminar H.E.L.F., which stands for Hugel Expert Leader’s Forum, every year since 2013. The company set up special programs this year such as expert training sessions to offer healthcare industry professionals up-to-date knowledge and know-how on aesthetic procedures.
